| Location 335 kms from New Delhi, 18 kms before Shimla (Himachal Pradesh). 73 kms from Kalka, 105 kms from Chandigarh and 135 kms from Ambala. Access By Road: 6.5 hours from Delhi via Sonepat, Karnal, Ambala, Zirakpur, Panchkula, Shimla Bye Pass at Pinjore, Jabli, Solan, Kandaghat, Shoghi. By Rail: Morning and overnight trains to Kalka which is 73 kms from Shoghi. Thereafter Shoghi is 2 hours by road. Cabs are easily available at Kalka Railway Station. Or take the heritage railway from Kalka till Kandaghat. From Kandaghat, Park Woods is 18 kms by road. By Air: 1) Chandigarh is the nearest regular airport. 2) Alliance Air (Air India) flights also operate from Delhi to Shimla (Jubbarhatti, 22 kms from Shimla and 40 kms from Shoghi) under UDAN Scheme. Reaching Park
Woods On a 2.7 kms metalled road off the highway, a picturesque drive takes one to the Park Woods parking, the last 300 metres drive from Village Paughat being on a motorable forest road. Here there is a large clearing for parking of vehicles. Upto 20 vehicles can be parked here. From the Parking, Park Woods resort is a gradual 5 minutes walk (80 meters) down a cemented slope with steps.
